In a three day workshop, the students went through the process of publication design, printing and packaging. Adding to the experience was the sheer joy of seeing exquisite post-print techniques, which pushed the designer out of the comfort zone towards exploration and innovative design.
Taking full advantage of the Croma studio and the inputs of experts, the students attended a workshop on visual effects and the output is certainly most inspiring! We know how sorely we have all missed these hands-on sessions in the last two years!
The Fashion Design students of both UG and PG went on a week-long visit to weaving units, manufacturing units as well as dyeing and printing units in Tamil Nadu to see the entire journey of yarn to made up garment including the retail and buying set up. An experience of a lifetime for the students!
