Introduction to Film and Media Studies: An overview of the fundamental concepts and theories in film and media studies.

Media and Society: Exploration of the relationship between media, culture, and society.

Introduction to Media Production: Basic principles and techniques of media production, including hands-on experience with cameras, editing software, and other production tools.

Film History: Chronological exploration of the development of cinema from its inception to the present day.

Film Theory: Examination of various theoretical approaches to understanding cinema, including formalism, realism, auteur theory, etc.

Critical Analysis of Media Texts: Techniques for analysing films, TV shows, advertisements, and other media texts.

Semiotics and Media: Study of signs, symbols, and meaning in media communication.

Film Appreciation: Understand different film genres, such as drama, comedy, science fiction, horror, etc. Explore films from various genres to appreciate the unique elements each brings to storytelling.

Music Appreciation: Explore a variety of music genres, from classical and jazz to pop, rock, hip-hop, and electronic. Each genre offers a unique sonic experience and cultural context.

Film Production: Hands-on courses in film production that cover the basics of filmmaking, including screenwriting, directing, cinematography, and editing. Students may work on short films or projects throughout the program.
