Neena Haridas is a writer, journalist and a media veteran. She specializes in writing on lifestyle design, fashion, art, and beauty. She had previously worked as Editorial Director of French haute couture magazine L’Officiel’s Indian edition. She worked as Editor for the Indian edition of international beauty and fashion magazine Marie Claire and also as advisor to Marie Claire International.

She is of the opinion that the general public should take fashion more seriously. She also holds the view that the fashion industry should go beyond mere reporting of current fashion trends and become more active towards influencing future styles.

She was the first Asian to win the International Online Journalism Awards 2000 from University of California for Best Human Interest Stories in Breaking News Category. She is also the recipient of Art of Living award for Best Journalistic work for women empowerment.
