Pooja Tharmarathinam is a designer and educator who holds two different bachelor degrees in Fashion Design (Birmingham City University) and Costume Design and Fashion (Bharathiyar University). Her professional experience includes designing kids wear, mens wear, and womens wear; handling buyers like Engbers, Coolcat, Miss Etam, Sainsbury, and Didi; and working as creative director and fashion stylist for Commercial Adshoots and Fashion Photoshoots. 

She brings to her classroom the knowledge and experience she gained as an independent designer, researcher, and design consultant, and inspires her students to come up with new and creative ideas.
