UG students tried their hand at T-shirt printing while PG students were tested for their Calligraphy skills.
T-Shirt Printing:
The students first made a drawing and then created a stencil out of it, which they replicated on a T-shirt.
The students gained a good grasp of printing fundamentals, got an overview of diverse printing methods, understood principles of negative & positive space in a composition and learned to create multiple copies of an image.
Calligraphy Class:
The students were first given an introduction to the origin and history of calligraphy. They were taught how to distinguish between calligraphy, lettering and typography. Following that, they were introduced to the basics of calligraphy and its basic drills/strokes.
They were then given some warm-up exercises along with basic strokes. As the final output, they did lettering on a colorful background like a gradient.
