UG Batch – BYOG with the help of a stencil.
The “Bring Your Own Bag” (BYOB) concept is a sustainability initiative aimed at reducing single-use plastic bags and promoting the use of reusable bags for shopping and carrying goods. It’s an environmentally friendly practice that encourages individuals to bring their own reusable bags when they go shopping or make any other purchases instead of relying on disposable plastic bags provided by stores and businesses.
The main idea is to inform the public about the benefits of using reusable bags. Such initiatives may also provide tips on how to incorporate BYOB practices into daily life.
PG Batch – Zine Making
A “zine” (short for “magazine” or “fanzine”) is a self-published, small-circulation, and often non-commercial publication that covers a wide range of topics, including art, literature, politics, culture, and personal experiences. Zines are typically created independently by individuals or small groups and are known for their DIY (Do-It-Yourself) ethos.
In summary, the concept of a zine revolves around self-publishing, DIY culture, alternative media, and diverse content. Zines offer a platform for individuals to share their creativity, opinions, and experiences with a small but engaged audience, contributing to a rich tradition of independent and alternative publishing.

UG Batch – Pouring Art.
The Acrylic Pouring method allowed budding artists to apply colors in the form of puddles, pools, and marbled patterns. This technique resulted in a sleek, lustrous paint surface that was flawlessly uniform and free of imperfections. It was particularly popular among newcomers, empowering them to create swift artworks with strikingly modern results. The chosen theme for this artistic endeavor revolved around a harmonious interplay of warm and cool colors.
PG Batch – 3D Papercutting.
Three-dimensional decoupage, also known as decoupage, involved the artistic technique of crafting a three-dimensional (3D) image. This was achieved by carefully cutting out elements of various sizes from multiple identical images and stacking them on top of one another. Typically, adhesive foam spacers were inserted between each layer to create depth and dimension within the image. Students enthusiastically explored a range of themes, including nature, festivities, koi ponds, and more. It was truly remarkable to witness the students’ enjoyment and engagement throughout the session.

UG Batch – Clay modelling
The clay modelling workshop is a transformative experience where students delve into the emotional realm by connecting with their feelings and those of others. Through expressive sculpting, they learn to convey complex emotions in tangible clay creations. Moreover, they discover the power of storytelling by capturing emotional narratives in their sculptures. Group sharing and reflection foster connection and empathy, making it a therapeutic journey of self-discovery and emotional expression in a supportive, creative environment.
PG Batch – Dot mandala
Dot mandala painting is an intricate art form where the PG students use tiny dots of paint to create mesmerizing designs. The workshop introduces the history and significance of mandalas, emphasizing their meditative and self-expression aspects. Students explore dot mandala techniques, share their creations, and collaborate on a collective mandala. A reflection session highlights the therapeutic benefits and personal growth opportunities this creative activity offers, fostering community, self-expression, and artistic exploration in a relaxed setting.

UG Batch – Group Mural Painting
“Imperial Size Monsoon” is a grand, captivating painting that vividly depicts the monsoon’s majesty and dichotomy. This colossal artwork showcases the serene and tempestuous aspects of the monsoon, using a diverse colour palette to portray stormy skies and rejuvenated landscapes. It features a tropical scene with subtle human presence, emphasizing the resilience of communities during the monsoon. Through dynamic brushwork, it captures the essence of rainfall and lightning, evoking a powerful connection between nature and humans.
PG Batch – Stopmotion
“Crafting Imagination: Stop Motion Magic with Polymer Clay” was an engaging project where students explored the world of stop-motion animation using polymer clay. They brought iconic characters to life and honed their artistic skills while learning about storytelling through animation. Working with polymer clay presented unique challenges, teaching patience and precision. The project sparked creativity and a deeper appreciation for stop motion, showcasing the limitless possibilities when art, technology, and imagination intersect.

UG Batch – Stopmotion
Crafting Imagination: Stop Motion Magic with Polymer Clay
Stop-motion animation is an enchanting world where creativity knows no bounds. In this exciting project, students embarked on a hands-on journey to explore the art of stop motion using the versatile medium of polymer clay. Guided by their imagination, they brought iconic characters like Mario and Angry Bird to life. This endeavor not only honed their artistic skills but also unlocked the doors to a world of storytelling through animation. Stop motion animation involves capturing a series of individual frames, each featuring a slightly different arrangement of objects, to create the illusion of movement when played in sequence. Polymer clay, known for its flexibility and ease of use, proved to be the perfect medium for this project.
PG Batch – Botanical Print
As part of their PG Batch Induction program, students at ISCA delved into the world of botanical prints using leaves on canvas, unleashing their artistic creativity while capturing the beauty of nature.
They began by carefully selecting fresh leaves with intriguing shapes and textures. After preparing the canvas and paints, they applied paint to the underside of each leaf and pressed it onto the canvas, creating intricate leaf silhouettes. The process allowed for experimentation with colors, sizes, and shapes, resulting in visually captivating prints. Some students ventured beyond leaves, incorporating twigs and flowers for added depth. Various painting techniques were explored, such as blending and sponge applications. The final touches included adding stems, veins, or additional colors to enhance the artwork. Ultimately, the students’ botanical prints celebrated the allure of nature through artistic expression

Nestled in the verdant landscapes of Kerala, India, Hill Palace invites visitors to step into a regal past.
The workshop outcome includes a visual expedition through Hill Palace, where participants will capture key moments through photographs and anecdotes, followed by selecting their top 6-8 photos for printing and presenting a visual journey based on their perspective.
The journey begins at the grand entrance, leading to the inner courtyard and its timeless charm. Inside, the palace’s museum unveils Kerala’s cultural legacy. Exploring the royal living quarters and antique treasures reveals opulence and artistry. The Chariot Gallery and tranquil palace gardens add unique dimensions, while a panoramic view crowns the experience. Hill Palace truly encapsulates history, art, and nature, imparting a deep appreciation for Kerala’s heritage.
PG Batch – Character Creation
In the pursuit of ‘Upcycled Artistry of Character Crafting, PG students ventured into an engaging and eco-conscious artistic expedition as part of their induction program.
They crafted unique characters by merging the traits of a scorpion, angel, and octopus using discarded materials. This imaginative and eco-friendly project breathed life into otherworldly creatures while promoting recycling. The students drew inspiration from the symbolism associated with these creatures, infusing their characters with qualities like strength, divinity, and adaptability. They meticulously gathered and repurposed scrap materials, then conceptualized, assembled, and painted their characters.
Through this hands-on experience, students not only honed their creative skills but also embraced the ethos of waste reduction and recycling.

As part of their induction program, UG students were introduced to the captivating realm of Zentangle doodle art, an intricate and meditative form of expression. Rooted in mindfulness, this accessible art form allows anyone to embark on a journey of self-discovery and creativity. With each stroke of the pen, Zentangle offers a therapeutic path to tranquility and creative fulfillment. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a newcomer to the creative world, Zentangle invites you to embrace mindfulness and unlock your artistic potential, creating unique and stunning pieces that reflect your journey and perspective.
PG Batch – Tie & Dye
The PG batch was greeted by a dynamic tie and dye workshop, titled “Vibrant Creations,” where participants discovered the art of tie and dye using hot and cold dyes. This creative endeavor allowed students to unleash their artistic potential while fostering collaboration in a supportive environment. Attendees created personalized tote bags and t-shirts, taking home wearable art. The workshop objectives included introducing participants to tie and dye, exploring diverse design possibilities, and nurturing creativity through hands-on crafting. Materials and tools, safety procedures, and a detailed workshop schedule were provided to ensure a colorful and memorable experience for all involved. Upon concluding the workshop, participants eagerly shared their experiences and proudly exhibited their completed tote bags and t-shirts. Engaging discussions ensued, covering various dye-setting techniques, including heat-setting and the patience required for curing cold dyes. To ensure the longevity of their vibrant creations, detailed aftercare instructions were provided to all attendees, empowering them to preserve and enjoy their personalized tie and dye artistry.

UG Batch – Bamboo Craft
As part of their induction program, undergraduate students worldwide were assigned the task of creating art using bamboo and handmade paper. This initiative showcases the convergence of eco-consciousness and artistry, with students producing unique artworks that blend visual appeal with environmental responsibility. Handmade paper, crafted from recycled resources, provides a canvas for creativity, while bamboo, a rapidly renewable resource, forms elegant frames and supports.
