The event started with a Bikeathon march around Knowledge Park, with riders carrying banners with Women’s Day slogans from their seats in the rear. This was followed by a flash mob by boys and girls with the subject of Embracing Equity. A theme dance based on the subject of equality through equity came next. The opening remarks were made and then Neka K. of ISCA and Jason Titus of Jain University performed a special duet for Women’s Day that was a wonderful remix of songs in three different languages.
Following this, Mr. Tom M. Joseph, Executive Director of Strategy & Development ISDC, made a brief speech and welcomed the group. Additionally enlightening the crowd with her words of wisdom-rich insight was Ms. Sheeba CC, Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector.
Ms Radhika, Actor, Former RJ & Television Presenter, Mr Jojo Jose, Actor, Director and Entrepreneur, and Ms Kshama Sandeep, Director Glowmind Training Consultancy Pvt Ltd & Honorable Additional Secretary – NIPM Kerala chapter, who were our distinguished guests, also addressed the gathering in their own unique ways.
Cake cutting and the distribution of keepsakes made the occasion a special one to remember.
Students had the chance to interact and discuss embracing equity in the panel discussion that followed, which was followed by cultural activities and a self-defense lesson. After a vote of thanks, the performance came to a close, and the students left for their Holi celebration.
